Big Milestone!!!
May. 24th, 2006 04:56 pmElliot took his first steps last night!!! I predicted it would be during his 9th month, and, sure enough, he is not 10 months til Saturday! Our new friend Lindy was over when it happened, and she videotaped for us, so we got it to show the grandparents. I felt so proud, and David got teary and said that it was my milk that made him so big and strong. Which, of course, made me teary.
Lindy seems to be becoming a good friend. Her and David had some "fun" last night for the first time, and everyone seems happy about that. I miss having a girlfriend, in both senses of the word. We made scones at midnight with her, which was a trip.
On related news, the livejournal struggle for BF icons continues, and several people (including some kick-ass poly folks) have been threatened with suspension. David emailed about a million feminist and boob friendly organizations to let them know about the situation. I still need a new icon, still haven't figured out how to make it happen. I know, I'm a technophobe. I have techno-fear, not techno-joy!
