bicrimI so rock! I just called my insurance company, and got them to agree to pay for my homebirth!!!! I have to call back next week and have them admit that there are no homebirth CNMs within 30 miles of me that are in network (and there aren't), but they promised, with a reference number and everything, that they would pay in network rates! This is a big deal, because we have a 11,000 deductible on our out of network benefits, so basically no coverage unless it's in network. Wow. This is 5,500 bucks that I don't have to worry about now. Go me!
