Harry Potter and Kristin the crazy mommy post

Only a few of you will get this, but I though I should post about it anyway. So, many of you know that I am a wee bit obsessed with the Harry Potter world and fandom. Many of you also know I have a son who just turned 15 months old yesterday. Put those two together, and you get me feeling sad for baby Harry, who lost his parents the day he turned 15 months old.

Just the idea of Elliot alone, with David and I suddenly murdered, and him left with people who hated him and abused him, makes me so upset. He still needs his boobie to sleep! What would he do without it? I know I'm insane, but hey, my mom used to cry at Hallmark commercials, no joke. The thought of a little boy being ripped from the arms of loving parents and given to abusive, awful people makes me ill. I think this must just be my mommy weirdness or something. Anyway, I make myself cry thinking about it. I am crazy.

ABC Family was playing HP: Prisonor of Azkaban tonight. I've seen it quite a few times but watched it again anyway. I like the series a lot and I can totally relate to what you're saying in regards to if your baby was put in HP's situation. Abuse is abuse is abuse, even if the person abused is a fictional character. amirite!? ;)
