I'm grateful for my husband, and his brain and wits, which enable him to make lots of money so I get to stay home with our kids and help them grow. I'm grateful for my kids, who are adorable and infuriating and smart and funny and are turning out quite well, I think. I'm grateful for my mother and step-father and David's parents, who love us and help with the kids when they can. I'm grateful for my sister, who is one of my best friends. I'm grateful for my health and that of my family. I'm grateful for my friends, both here and in real life, who are the backbone of my life, who understand me and keep me sane, who I could not do without. I'm thankful for the authors who write the stuff I love, and who have become my friends.
