So, when I was in college, I really loved Dar Williams, this folk singer. She was just awesome. I put her CD in a few days ago while I was cleaning, and remembered why I loved her so much. This one song in particular, though they are all thoughtful, beautiful, and often really funny. "As Cool as I Am" is about a woman who is reviewing her relationship with a jerky guy who is always trying to make her insecure and jealous, and her refusal to give in to that. The line "I will not be afraid of women" really speaks to me, especially as a poly person, who deals with other women and jealously regularly, though without the jerky guy part.
cluegirl, the narrator in this song reminds me of you, fierce and unafraid. The video is a bit dorky and low budget, but just listen with your eyes closed, the song is inspiring and just amazing.

Those of you who are either Christians or Pagans, which is much of my FL, should check out her song "The Christians and the Pagans", which is just hilarious.
