Lactation Shake!
This is a recipe that I have made up--it's nutritious, tasty, and uses up the milk-inducing ingredients that you bought to make the cookies! Makes one large serving, great for breakfast, lunch, or a snack!
In your blender:
1 cup milk of any kind. (I have used cow's, soy, rice, and almond, all are good)
1 banana
1/4 cup uncooked oats, old-fashioned or steel cut
1 tablespoon Brewer's Yeast
1/2 tablespoon Flaxseed Meal
2 tablespoons peanut butter (optional, but so yummy!)
2 tablespoons honey (if you use a sweet "milk", like vanilla rice or soy, cut this down a bit)
Add a good handful of ice cubes, and blend until ice is crushed and everything is smooth and frothy. Drink and lactate!
