I have to say, I no longer like Lupin after reading the DH. The battle isn't the first time he thought about leaving his baby. Earlier in the book, he thinks about leaving her, allegedly because he's worried about the ostracism Tonks and his child will feel because he's a werewolf. Because of this, I don't see him fighting in this battle as brave - he strikes me as too cowardly to parent.
