A pregnant lady sat down next to me as I was nursing my son at Babies r Us today. We were in the glider section, and she took the chair next to me and proceded to ask me about breastfeeding. She had a lot of bad info, and was very scared about nursing. I very calmly explained supply and demand, and used my son to demonstrate a good latch. I gave her the info for kellymom, LLL, and my email and phone number. She really wants to nurse, and is scared to death by all the formula company propaganda and her "friends" who all told her she wouldn't make enough milk. I looked her right in the eye and said "You can do it!" I feel so happy about being able to help another mama IRL!
