So, Elliot is almost 10 months now. His nursing patterns have changed over the last month or so, and I just wanted to put them out there to see if you all have experienced anything like this. He eats solids twice a day, and eats a good amount, more at one feeding than the other. He nurses at least 5 times during the day, and lots at night while sleeping. Due to my hypoplastic breasts, we have used donor milk with the SNS since he was born, and I pump after every feeding. In the last month, he has cut out the donor milk altogether, and has stopped wanting the SNS with my milk in it except first thing in the morning. I'm still pumping after most feedings, and now actually have a small stash of my own milk in the freezer! (as well as 24 jars of milk bank milk that I have no idea what to do with!)

My question: Is his wanting less volume of milk at his age normal? It feels like a normal progression of the nursing relationship to me, but this is my first time. Second question: how in the world do I stop pumping so much and let my supply go down naturally after spending the last 10 months obsessing over keeping it up? Third question: When do I stop the domperidone, or cut down my dose?

Any answers are appreciated. -Kristin
