There are a lot of people who were barely scraping by when the government in Minnesota shut down. One family that I know personally does not have enough to eat. They are dumpster diving for food. They feel pretty awful about this so I asked them to make a wishlist and I'd boost the signal.

How about paypaling or mailing them a check so they can use the money to buy the food directly at their store so saving shipping charges? Is that an option?
