Wow. I have a very, very similar nursing story. I nursed my oldest daughter with an SNS (then switched to a Lact-Aid) for 7.5 months until she was eating sufficient solids to stop supplementing with formula. I am now nursing my second daughter, who is just about 7.5 months old now, with donated mother's milk and the Lact-Aid. She's showing no signs of slowing the supplemental breastmilk, and I'm not pushing solids as I did with my first daughter to get her off the demon formula.

I have IGT and hypoplastic breasts as diagnosed by an IBCLC back in 2002.

My 4 year old is still nursing at bedtime and on waking, though looks like she's finally starting to initiate weaning by forgetting to want to nurse some nights and mornings.
