I had read this before, but the line that really stands out to me now is this one "before I worked through the grief of losing the breastfeeding relationship I thought I would have, and accepting the one that I had." I think that's what I'm going through now. He'll still comfort nurse and at night he still likes to go to sleep with my nipple in his mouth - it makes me feel needed at least, even if he's not getting much out of it.
