Wow. I have a very, very similar nursing story. I nursed my oldest daughter with an SNS (then switched to a Lact-Aid) for 7.5 months until she was eating sufficient solids to stop supplementing with formula. I am now nursing my second daughter, who is just about 7.5 months old now, with donated mother's milk and the Lact-Aid. She's showing no signs of slowing the supplemental breastmilk, and I'm not pushing solids as I did with my first daughter to get her off the demon formula.

I have IGT and hypoplastic breasts as diagnosed by an IBCLC back in 2002.

My 4 year old is still nursing at bedtime and on waking, though looks like she's finally starting to initiate weaning by forgetting to want to nurse some nights and mornings.

I'm going to friend you, if it's okay.
