Baby hell
Oh my god, this baby is going to be the death of me. For the last 4 nights, he will not go to sleep for anything. Like Thursday night, when he didn't fall asleep til 6 am! Or last night, 3am. And, oh the twiddling! It hurts! He can't fall asleep unless he is pinching me. Last night, David had to take him to his side of the bed and hold him while he screamed bloody murder for 3 minutes to get him to be happy with boob and to calm down enough to sleep. It took 3 tries. I hate having to "cry him" like that. I mean, he's in his father's arms, but he screams like we are killing him. He sleeps fine once he's asleep. I think maybe he's not on enough of a regular napping schedule, and this is my punishment. Today, he will nap like clockwork, because I will make him! Why, oh why, did he inherit David's high strung temperament instead of mine? My mom says I was the easiest baby in the world. Sigh.
